41st Ave. ramp to southbound Highway 1 closed nights through Thursday
Starting tonight through Thursday, Caltrans will be replacing the joints on the bridge at Highway 1 and Bay in Capitola.
From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the southbound on-ramp to the highway from 41st Avenue will be closed. Instead, motorists can take 41st Avenue to Soquel Drive to Porter Street to the southbound Highway 1 on-ramp at Bay Avenue.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones. It's the law.
For information about this project and other Caltrans projects in Santa Cruz County call District 5 at 1-877-448-6771 or visit http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist05/paffairs/release.htm#mon.
