Hardley-Davidson recalls 9K bikes

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is recalling 9,102 certain model year 2013-14 FXSB and FXSBSE motorcycles because the fuel level sensor to read inaccurately due to suspension variances possibly affecting the gas tank mounting angle. This could cause, meaning the bike could run out of gas unexpectedly -- possibly before the low fuel warning light illuminates. The problem would allow the effected bikes to stall, increasing the risk of a crash. Harley-Davidson will notify owners. Dealers will update the software recalibrating the fuel level sensor signal for free. The recall is expected to begin late this month. For information, call Harley-Davidson at 1-800-258-2464.
