Teaching older drivers to ‘Age Well, Drive Smart’

From 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 9 senior drivers can learn ways to "Age Well, Drive Smart" from the CHP. Designed as an educational tool for older drivers, the program helps seniors brush up on their driving skills, refresh their memory about the rules of the road, learn ways aging impacts driving skills, decide when to stop driving and educate themselves about alternatives to driving. The free course will occur at the Santa Cruz Community Foundation, at 7807 Soquel Drive. Class space is limited. For information and reservations, call 662-0511.
