Santa Cruz County is getting ‘Plugged In’

Ecology Action is hosting an workshop to help the electric vehicle curious determine if they can curb their gas-powered car 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at 877 Cedar St. Several EV owners will be there to discuss life with the electric vehicle, including the benefits, savings and trends regarding electric vehicles. There also will be some EVs on display, such as the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt and Smart ED. Enterprise and Hertz will be there giving out $10 coupons toward the rental of electric vehicles in their respective fleets.
