DMV offers vehicle registration renewal notifications via email

Vehicles owners can sign up to have the DMV send registration renewal information to their email inbox. Launched in October 2012, the program already has 122,886 customers enrolled. To sign up to have notifications emailed 30 days prior to your vehicle registration's expiration date, register on the DMV's  website, enter their vehicle, vessel or motorcycle information into their personalized account, then  click the “opt in” button. When email reminders are received, customers can click on a link and renew renew their registration online. If participants sell their vehicle, they must enter their account and remove that vehicle to prevent future reminders from popping into their email box.
