Ford recalls 5,600 vehicles due to child safety concerns

Ford is recalling 5,675 vehicles because the rear left door child lock was built incorrectly, allowing it to be opened from the inside, increasing the risk of injury to an unrestrained child. The vehicles impacted by the recall are the 2013 Ford Focus, C-Max and Escape. Owners will receive recall notices in the mail. Dealers will make the repairs for free. The recall is to begin March 25.
