Chrysler recalls 745K Jeeps for airbag malfunction concerns

Chrysler is recalling 744,822 certain model year 2002 and 2003 Jeep Liberty and 2002-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles because the front and side curtain airbags and/or the seatbelt pretensioners may deploy while the vehicle is being driven. This can cause a crash and injury. The company will notify owners. Dealers will make the fix at no cost to vehicle owners. The recall is to begin in January 2013.
