NHTSA talks child passenger safety on Facebook

Parents seeking to stay on top of issues and information surrounding child passenger safety can turn to Facebook, where the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has set up a page on the topic. Come Aug. 17, the administration will add The Child Passenger Safety fan page it its current fan page, www.facebook.com/NHTSA. There, parents will learn the latest about a wide range of traffic safety topics – all in one place. The goal is to make it easier to talk about the safety issues they care about, including child passenger safety, buzzed driving, drunk driving, seat belts, safer cars, new technologies. Meanwhile, the administration has uploaded videos on child passenger safety to its YouTube channel and has embedded players in its site pages. It also has updated its page of car seat instructional videos.
