Cops to be on the lookout for zombie drivers next month, Distracted Driving Awareness Month

Come April 1, law enforcement agencies across the state will be on the lookout for distracted, “zombie-like” drivers. April is designated National Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the CHP, Sen. Joe Simitian, Caltrans, the Office of Traffic Safety will be among those to make that announcement at a morning press conference today in Sacramento. The event will come complete with actors in full driver zombie make-up and character. See a video about distracted zombie drivers -- with cell phones in hand -- released by the OTS here.
