Hwy 236 maintenance this week, expect delays

Motorists who travel Highway 236 between two miles north of China Grade Road and the route's junction with Highway 9 should plan to leave out earlier than normal, as well as expect delays later this week. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16, Caltrans will apply a pavement seal to improve road conditions there, creating delays of up to 30-minutes Expect one-way traffic controls and flaggers in the project area. The project costs $110,000.
