The Felton Freeze Disc Golf Tournament will be held Saturday at the Black Mouse Course in Felton. This is the fourth year of the tournament, which benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Disc golfers of all levels are welcome to participate, although they must sign up prior to the day of the event. A player’s meeting kicks off the day at 8 a.m.
Scotts Valley resident and 2011 Pro Masters Disc Golf Champion Jon Baldwin is expected to be competing in the event.
Entry fee is $40 and two cans of food. Entrants will receive a player’s package that includes a commemorative disc and free pizza at the raffle and awards ceremony afterward at Redwood Pizzeria in Felton.
Last year, the tournament raised $1,150 and 150 pounds of food. In its three years since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $3,000 and 500 pounds of food.
