Please note that the evacuation center and shelter at SLV Jr. High on Highway 9 is still open and will continue to run until further notice. All evacuees, friends, etc can go to that location for more information on aid and updates. Santa Cruz County Red Cross 831-462-2881. 10:34 a.m. Thursday.

I’m looking for a way to contribute quilts to the fire victims. We are a small group that want to help, is there any one collecting this type of donation for these victims?

You can make donations directly to the Santa Cruz County chapter of the Red Cross. You can specify that donations are either for the general fund, disaster services, or specifically for victims of the fire.
