Thank you Shmuel Thaler. I don’t know why exactly you have blessed us Santa Cruz locals with your talent, but I know we are very lucky to see your views of our world. Your vision never ceases to amaze me. Never leave, never stop…please!

Great shots. They capture the situation so well. New website design is terrible though. Where is the navigation when we want to go back and see a specific image? Have to loop all over again? Not good.

May not be the best place to ask but the only that i know of. Does anyone know if the fire has reached Tindall Ranch Road off of Eureka Canyon?

I agree with Jim and Trent:
Amazing photos, but they’ve been tossed into a sub-par web package. The (non-existent) navigation system is embarrassing.

My best wishes to the people of Corrallitos and all those affected by this fire.

Shmuel Thaler, they are great photos. I really appreciate them. I’m positive that approximately photo nineteen of Summit Slide Show II, the one just after the photo of the girl in the blue shirt leaning back with the horse, is my brother’s property. I’m in Massachusetts, our sister is in Las Vegas, and our father is in Aptos. We have had one phone call message and one short email so we know he is physically safe, but would really appreciate a copy of the photo that you took. We would like to try and get a better sense of what he has been dealing with. His property abuts Maymen’s Flat Road. The responder who mentioned the rotating nature of the slide show is right, at least for me. I know the area moderately well, but need some static slides to look at. Thank you for any help you can give me. I will forward the photo to my sister and father.

I could not stop the slideshow long enough to read the captions and study the pictures.
