No Maverick’s? No problem?
Local skaters and pros from far-flung locales are crossing paths right here in Santa Cruz, ripping it up at the month-old Mike Fox Skate Park.

I’m glad Santa Cruz has a permanent skate park. The video/audio quality of the Sentinel report should have been better considering you are a newspaper. I could have done at least as good of a job with my own camera and movie program.

I have been waiting for a park like this for some time now. It must be like 30 some yrs back when there was a park in Soquel. I have yet to ride this new one but I know that once I do there will be no stopping me. I am 47 yrs old and when someone who has been skating for 32 yrs has to wait this long to get a nice park in there home town I am not going to stop now, this is just the begining. The side show was week. I made one of the park as it was being built that is way cool from flat ground to what it looks like today. If you don’t have good representation of a project then how do you expect any to take it seriously ?
