I live in Anchorage, AK and I love snow. I must say Santa Cruz looks with snow.

I am always impressed with Shmuel Thaler’s photographs. Thank you, once again, for providing such a unique and beautiful perspective of Santa Cruz!

These photos are absolutely beautiful; especially the one with the snow covered trees and the one with the mailboxes. Thank you for posting them for all of us to see.

Great pictures… looked a lot like my home when I woke this morning in Bonny Doon!

Wow! Seeing pictures on the net is wonderful.
Being born and raised in Santa Cruz, I saw some
snow… and always loved it. Now living in Korea
has left me away from my home town for over 2
years. Wish I could of experienced the snow first
hand.

Awesome pictures I do agree. Thank goodness for Al Gore and global warming, otherwise we would only see snow once every what, 8 years as I recall?

Wonderful photos! Great service of sharing.
I am really curious where the Shmuel was standing when he took the lead photo with the ducks flying overhead.
Thanks!

Thank you for the beautiful shots. I can pretend to be outside while sitting in my cube.

Lived 60 Years in Santa Cruz, snow was so special. Banished to Georgia in my old age and too poor to go home. Love the Sentinel online.
Keep it free!!

It looks nice online, but what they don’t show you is the high prices, rude new plant locals, and all of the traffic. I’m sure Georgia is a beautiful place too.. Go out and enjoy it.
