An airbag problem is behind Honda’s recall of 748,481 model year 2009-13 Pilot and 2011-13 Odyssey vehicles.
The company reports some rivets that attach the airbag module to the airbag cover may be missing. This can alter airbag performance during deployment, potentially increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Honda will notify vehicles of the recall while dealerships will inspect and replace the airbag module if necessary for free. The recall campaign number is S75 and the recall is to begin around Feb. 16.
