I have observed a foolish trend that deals with bicycles, kids, parents, and safety helmets.
Lately, I have seen many kids riding their bikes and wearing their bicycle helmets. Riding next to them is a parent with a bare noggin. Not only is this a stupid thing for the
adult — adult term is suspect — to do, it sets a very poor example for the young rider. It also reflects poor parenting skills.
Act like the grownups you are suppposed to be and wear head protection. A brain is an awful thing to lose.
