Work will begin Monday, Oct. 29 to remove slide debris from Highway 1 in the Waddell Creek area – between ½ mile south of to 1.5 miles north of the bridge.
The work will include one way traffic controls with a pilot car or flaggers 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Expect delays of up to 20 minutes as crews with contractor John Madonna Construction, Co., of San Luis Obispo, remove slide debris that accumulates each year between December through October.
The $178,000 job is expected to last through January 2013, weather permitting.
