Santa Cruz County is hosting two community workshops on creating a Transit Corridors Plan for Sustainable Communities.
While the focus will be on Live Oak, Soquel, and Aptos, the goal is to have residents help shape growth and development priorities throughout Santa Cruz County. That plan will integrate the county’s land use and transportation policies so that environmental resources are protected, economic growth is supported and access is increased for all residents.
The workshops are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 and 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18 at New Brighton Middle School, 250 Washburn Ave., Capitola.
Spanish translation services will be available.
