The Falcons, making their third consecutive playoff appearance, host their first postseason game in school history when they take on Carmel on Saturday at 2 p.m.

This great coach happens to be a great person too. Louie Walters is very well liked by his players and anybody that is around him. He brought up a program from nothing to a program that is one of the best in the state. He deserves all the credit he gets and I believe he should get even more recognition because of his dedication to his players and the sport. He is someone that will never be forgotten in the Santa Cruz area.

i can’t listen to louie walters lie through his teeth like that. it’s amazing how he can make his program sound like god’s gift to football. playing scotts valley is the worst week of the year. the kids there have no concept of sportsmanship, they have no respect for the game. the banner that flies over their field that says “welcome to scotts valley high school, where sportsmanship is a prioirity” almost made me puke. i’ve never seen scotts valley go a game without getting a personal foul. i teach my kids respect and playing a team like scotts valley makes me wonder why i even bother. teams reflect the personality of their coaches, i would be very surprised if soctts valley was any different.

To “the truth about Walters” — you obviously don’t know him OR our kids. Anyone who has to a nasty, annonymous message at 1:42 in the morning is not worth the time of day. Glad my son doesn’t play for you…you sound like a bitter old man. And it’s obvious you didn’t even listen to the podcast…
