In this podcast, Chris Watson reaches author Pete Dexter at his Puget Sound home.

Dexter’s Paper Trails is a collection of his newspaper columns and magazine pieces.

Dexter wrote for the Philadelphia Daily News and Sacramento Bee before winning the National Book Award in 1988 for his novel, Paris Trout.
