Bob Rader shows off some of the treasures availale at the Omega Nu rummage sale.  The philanthropic organization offered bargains on clothing, furniture, toys housewares and attic treasures at the Civic Auditorium.  The 54th annual rummage sale benefited college scholarships for local high school graduates, donations to local charities and grants to teachers to defray out-of-pocket expenses.  The group has contriuted more than $500,000 in the past five years to such thigs as the Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation Department, the Boys and Girls Club and safe and sane graduation celebrations at local public high schools.
