A seven hour standoff in Watsonville ended early Tuesday morning after the Sheriffs Office SWAT team entered the house to find the two inside dead. Photographic coverage of the event was provided by Shmuel Thaler and myself, John Williams.

Twenty-three pounds of marijuana buds worth more than $80,000 as well as 1,400 marijuana plants were found inside a house the 3800 block of Redwood Drive in Aptos Saturday. In addition, Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputies confiscated nine guns as well as more than $40.000 cash and arrested one man.
