Lightning dominated the sky over Monterey Bay late Thursday night and early Friday morning. Ben Ingram (www.beningramvisuals.com) went out in the rain to get this shot. Here’s how he described the scene: The torrential rain, howling winds, and freezing weather didn’t stop me from going out last night to attempt some lightning shots. However, it did manage to keep me confined to my truck, tripod on passenger seat. Keeping my wipers on high and my defrost blasting, I was able to capture this strike through my windshield. Not bad for shooting through a rain covered window with 30 mph winds shaking my truck.
