u00a0How do you think Major League Baseball select their All-Stars?? They do a poll where you can vote as many times as you like! It’s the same thing here. The only difference is Major League All-Stars get $$$ and the winner of this poll gets recognition and/or a certificate.u00a0

Thanks for all the votes. And we appreciate your thoughts about limiting the voting, and we’ll take into consideration next time around. This year’s poll is informal, and we like the idea of asking friends and family run up the vote count. (Just like most All-Star voting). The Sentinel sports department chooses Athletes of the Year and Scholar Athletes of the Year with help from coaches and administrators.
