As we approach the end of the year, we’ll be building a page that looks back on the biggest stories of 2010. We’d love your feedback on the stories you thought had the biggest impact in the community.
And as we started looking back, we took a look at the most clicked stories. Celebrity photos, great images from our viewers, public information databases and cops news are always popular on the Sentinel site. But we also went back for a couple reasons and compiled a list of the most popular stories from Nov. 1, 2009 to Oct. 31, 2010.

The Penny Ice Creamery in Santa Cruz has created a viral hit. Or at least its video in praise of the recovery act for its help in getting the new venture off the ground has received the attention of the White House.
After the YouTube video went out, it was acknowledged and shared by the White House social media operators and yesterday the Vice President called up the Santa Cruz business and offered his appreciation and an invitation to the White House.
