HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY
The Watsonville high Men’s cross country participated in the Early Bird Invitational. The top three runners were Edgar Garcia, who ran in the freshman race, placed 17th overall with a time of 18:55, Renee Siquerios, who ran in the sohpomore race, placed 27th overall with a time of 18:08, and Brian Knight, who ran in the Junior race, and finished 16th overall with a time of 17:32.
VOLLEYBALL
Aptos High School competed in the Milpitas Spikefest, finishing 4th overall. Aptos won their first three games against St. Thomas Moore, 25-11, 25-17, Castilleja, 25-21, 25-17 and Sacred Heart Prep,21-25, 25-20, 15-9, to reach the playoffs. In the playoffs Aptos was defeated bt Menlo, 19-25, 13-25, and Mountain View,21-25, 25-23, 9-15. Steffi Sooter and Baily Agneloo gave great performance with 43 digs and 30 assists, respectively. Maddie Young made 25 assists and Shelby oliver had 24 kills.
