Through the Fulbright Teacher Exchange program, Cypress Charter High School teacher Lara Rankin is spending the 2012-2013 school year teaching at a high school in Budapest. While she’s doing that, Emoke Nadasi, a teacher from Hungary will spend the year at Cypress Charter High School in Live Oak.
Throughout the next several months, they’ll share their respective experiences and their students and colleagues will also chime in on what it’s like. The Sentinel hopes to bring you a better look at not only Hungarian culture but also student life in both districts, and foster a new dialogue.
