The first duty of a newspaper (or its on-line version) is to tell you what happened yesterday and what’s happening today. The second is telling you what’s going to happen tomorrow. In that spirit, we here at the Sentinel Internet hub are maintaining a list of coming events that we hope Santa Cruz County residents (and those visiting) will find useful.
It’s no whiz-bang interactive wonder. It’s just a long list of the incredible bounty of live entertainment and enlightenment happening in the following months in this county. We’re calling it the Futures Index. We don’t list every bar band and grange breakfast, but we hope to go beyond just the big-name tickets as well, from musical acts (like Devil Makes Three, pictured) to comedy shows, variety shows, lectures and special film screenings.
