Seals fundraiser Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Santa Cruz Seals 19-and-under Palomino team will hold its fourth annual fundraiser Tuesday (Aug. 14) at 7 p.m. at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz.
All proceeds from the game will go to Emiloe Erickson, a 12-year-old Scotts Valley resident who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010. She recently received a bone marrow transplant at Stanford Medical Center and is currently in remission. She has, however, lost the use of her legs.
A $5.00 donation is asked for at the gate.
The event pits the 2012 Seals team against players from the past 12 years who have been coached by Buddy Carrigan and Steve Peters.
There will be a raffle for both prizes and cash.
