McGehee asking for your vote

Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Casey McGehee, formerly of Soquel High, has a video up on youtube.com, under the search title of “Vote for the Miracle League of Milwaukee.”

In it, McGehee, who has a son Mackail with cerebral palsy, is asking fans to vote for Milwaukee to land a $200,000 grant from Pepsi. The Brewers intend to build a universal rubberized field to allow children with mental and/or physical disabilities, like Mackail, to play the baseball in a disability-friendly league.

Fifteen MLB teams are actively seeking the grant from Pepsi.

For more information, check out the video on youtube.com. To cast your vote, go to mlb.mlb.com/sponsors/pepsi/refresh/y2010/
